But, the party doesn’t end after the fireworks display, there is a fun dance contest (for all ages) that gets underway at 10:00 p.m. Join in the evening’s festivities and then be sure to see . . .
The 4th of July Steam Engine Parade at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4th .
Cumming’s famous 4th of July Steam Engine Parade features antique steam engines, antique tractors, antique cars and many other holiday-themed floats, and the much revered parade presence of local soldiers and veterans. Beginning at the intersection of Tribble Gap and Woodland Drive, the parade proceeds to the Cumming Fairground—where it ends at approximately 12:00 noon.
Following the parade, visitors at the fairgrounds can take a closer look at the featured steam engines, tractors, and antique cars.
For hungry and thirsty parade goers, food and beverage vendors will be open at the Cumming Fairground from 9:00 a.m. until the celebration ends at 1:00 p.m.
Rain delays are possible, as is an unlikely cancellation of the parade.
