Bald Ridge Creek Park
Open from March-October, Bald Ridge Creek Campground—located on scenic Lake Lanier—offers 82 spacious and clean camping sites with electric and water hookups. Most of the sites have a lake view and fees range from $25 - $27 dollars, and include a dump station, laundry facilities, restrooms, and hot showers, in addition to a playground.
Outdoor recreational opportunities at Bald Ridge Creek Park feature a swimming beach and boat ramp, giving campers access to Lake Lanier’s 38,000 acres of natural resources for sightseeing, picnicking, fishing, boating, and water sports. The camps lakeside location, away from city lights and traffic noises, make it an ideal location for walking, or a relaxing getaway.
Constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the 1950’s, Lake Lanier—which lies in the foothills of the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains—is enjoyed as a great travel destination by over 7.5 million people a year, and it is noted for its scenic shores and a wide variety of recreational activities. In addition, in their role as lake stewards, the Corp. oversees the lake’s 690 miles of shoreline and over 100 small islands, including eight campgrounds like Bald Ridge Creek Park. Location: Just 45 minutes from Atlanta, Bald Ridge Creek Park is one of several campgrounds in the north Georgia city of Cumming, which is the county seat of Forsyth County.

Reservations (8-person maximum per site, including visitors) are required and must be made at least one day in advance.
